Registration for the 2017 ASA National Congress will be available online from 31 March 2017.
All prices are in Australian dollars and are inclusive of GST.
Please be aware that early bird registrations must be booked AND paid for by the early bird closing date to take advantage of the discounted rates. After this date all unpaid registrations will be charges at the standard registration rate.
Payment via credit card on the online registration site is the preferred method of payment. Online payments can be made with either Visa, MasterCard or AMEX.
To receive the member rate, you must be a member of the Australian Society of Anaesthetists (ASA) at the time of registration. Registration lists will be regularly sent to the Australian Society of Anaesthetists (ASA) to check against membership status.
Trainee Member Registration
Group of ASA Clinical Trainees (GASACT) members receive one complimentary NSC registration once within the first two years of becoming an ‘Ordinary’ member. Present your NSC tax invoice to the Federal Secretariat after the NSC and your registration fee will be reimbursed.
Day registration is permitted for one single day only. If you would like to attend more than one day, a full registration must be purchased.
All registrations made after Friday 29 September 2017 will incur a $50.00 late registration fee. Standard registrations with payments outstanding after 29 September will similarly incur a $50.00 late fee.
At the NSC you will be given a pocket program. Abstracts will be available from the NSC website and via the mobile app. You can purchase a printed handbook by pre-order only. The printed Delegate Handbook is $80 and can be purchased via the online registration form.
Terms & Conditions
All cancellations and amendments must be sent in writing via email to the Encanta Congress Secretariat. Delegates who, after registering, find themselves unable to attend the Congress are welcome to nominate a substitute delegate. If there is no one that can be nominated as a substitute delegate, a refund of registration fees, less a cancellation fee of $150 (incl. GST) will be made if the written cancellation is received by 08 September 2017.
Registration cancellations received after 8 September 2017 and up to seven days prior to the Congress will receive a 50% refund. No refunds will be given for registration cancellations received within seven days of the Congress, however a substitute delegate may be nominated. Special circumstances are at the discretion of the NSC Officer and the Congress Convenor.
Social Tickets: Regrettably, optional social function tickets will not be refunded if delegate participation is cancelled less than 48 hours prior to the event, as numbers attending are fixed at that point. Refunds from any deposits forwarded to hotels, tour companies or other related business will be at the discretion of the supplier.Cancellations received up to and including 17:00 WST Monday, 7 August 2017 will receive a full refund, less $150.00 administration fee.
The Australian Society of Anaesthetists (ASA) and Encanta reserves the right to deny entry and/or terminate the registration of any person who demonstrates behaviour that is deemed to be inappropriate and/or a risk to others.
Registration received by Encanta will not be considered as confirmed unless payment has been received and processed. Non-payment or non-attendance will be taken as a cancellation on the day of the event and will incur a 100% cancellation fee.
The speakers, topics and times are correct at the time of printing. In the event of unforeseen circumstances, the Organising Committee, on behalf of the Australian Society of Anaesthetists, reserves the right to delete or alter items in the Congress program.
Registration fees do not include insurance of any kind. Participants are advised to take out personal insurance, including cover for travel, accommodation and personal possessions. Neither the Australian Society of Anaesthetists (ASA) nor Encanta covers individuals against the cancellations of bookings for any reason including cancellation or postponement of the congress or for theft or damage to belongings.
Insurance is the responsibility of the individual delegate.
In the event of industrial disruptions or natural disasters, Australian Society of Anaesthetists (ASA) and Encanta Event Management cannot accept responsibility for any financial or other losses incurred by the delegates. Nor can the Australian Society of Anaesthetists and Encanta Event Management take responsibility for injury or damage to persons or property occurring during the Congress or associated activities.
While attending the conference you may be photographed. By registering for the conference, you agree to these photographs being used for promotional purposes.
